Sara Horta established the independent production company Pixel Films, with which she has produced some documentaries and well-known short films.
Her first feature film, DHOGS (2017) directed by Andres Goteira, was the most awarded film in the Mestre Mateo Awards History, with 13 awards.
With Stray Dogs as international sales agent, DHOGS was in several international film festivals as BAFICI, Sitges, Frightfest, Split Filmest, Mórbido, BIFFF, Imagine…
She was one of the members on the Board of the Galician Audiovisual Academy for four years and currently she is working at Frida Films, a company specialized in arthouse films.
This year she attended to the Industry workshop at Marché du Filmin Cannes.
